They have sold over 27 million corporate gifts since 2013, have over 3,000 unique products available with new items added monthly, and serve over 19,000 customers
Goal
To achieve a high-level of client intimacy and custom solutions, Gift Market needed to excel in certain key differentiation factors.
Some of the goals were to constantly meet tight deadlines, develop strong in-house infrastructure, and maintain ready stock of over 3,000 SKUs. On top of that, the company had to also be able to ideate unique gifts or customise existing products, which required developing a team of consultants and an in-house design team.
As a business, this posed building many complex processes, while developing a strong team to deliver upon these results.

Before starting Super Scaling, the founders handled most of the operations themselves, such as logistics and programming. At a certain point in the growth of the company, that actually holds the business back by a lot. Scaling requires the business owners to develop a different set of skills: managing people, building a strong team, delegating effectively.

Prior to joining Super Scaling, there wasn’t proper processes to recruiting and hiring the right members into the team. That resulted in the business having to hire and replace people at a very fast rate.
Entire years were spent just hiring people, and having them resign after several months, and then restarting the hiring process again. This can be a very big problem, because the founders get sucked into hiring and training. This results in the business not being able to move forward with expansion and growth plans
